• Weekly pay is available for individuals in driver positions

Requirements

• A person must be at least 21 years of age
• Obtain a negative outcome on a Ryder drug test
• Pass a thorough Ryder background assessment and motor vehicle screening, in addition to confirming drug and alcohol history with former employers dating back three years
• Undergo a Department of Transportation (DOT) health evaluation
• Fulfill the criteria to pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Essential qualifications entail a track record of experience operating a tractor trailer or an equivalent vehicle with a Class A rating:
• The applicant must have gained 9 months of experience within the past 3 years
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience within the past 5 years, OR
• Five years of recent experience within the last 10 years
• Proficiency in executing written and/or verbal instructions
• The aptitude to read, interpret, and adhere to laws, rules, and regulations

Responsibilities

• Guaranteeing compliance with relevant federal and state laws, regulations, and agency protocols
• Spotting and resolving safety hazards while maintaining accurate documentation
• Helping with freight loading/unloading tasks as necessary as specified by the customer
• Completes any other assignments as designated
